After successfully finishing Ironman Klagenfurt and Challenge Roth, Daan de Beer consciously shifted from tightly structured road training to trail running. The physical demands of an Ironman preparation created a need for more freedom, recovery, and connection with nature. Trail running restored that balance: pace was let go, and enjoyment took over once again.
