Logistics Manager

We're growing fast—we double in size every year. That pace of growth requires a warehouse that scales right along with our revenue. That's why we're looking for a Logistics Manager who will build the foundation for a smooth, reliable flow of goods: the operational engine behind everything we deliver to athletes around the world.

While this role is unmistakably operational, we're also a scale-up with a lean, entrepreneurial culture and little bureaucracy. That means you'll work hands-on on the floor while keeping sight of the bigger picture. You're just as comfortable leading your team as you are taking a pragmatic, hands-on approach to the challenges that come with scaling a fast-growing company.

Day-to-day warehouse management

  • Lead and plan the daily work of the warehouse team (3-4 employees), with a hands-on, hands-in-the-mix approach on the floor
  • Divide tasks and priorities so inbound and outbound flows are always handled on time and correctly
  • Safeguard safety, order, and cleanliness in the warehouse
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members, and onboard new colleagues

Goods flow & inventory management

  • Check and process incoming goods, including initial quality control
  • Manage the quarantine process: correctly label and separate blocked or unchecked goods, and release or reject them in time
  • Coordinate outbound goods: order picking, packaging, and shipping according to plan
  • Manage and optimise around 1,000 pallet locations, ensuring efficient layout and use of space
  • Oversee the use of our external warehouse during peak periods or extra storage needs
  • Prepare, guide, and carry out stock counts, and safeguard inventory accuracy in our systems

Collaboration & alignment

  • Liaise closely and frequently with Procurement on purchasing planning, lead times, shortages, and storage capacity
  • Align with Sales on delivery promises, stock availability, and customer-specific requirements
  • Work together with Backoffice on order processing, administration, and documentation
  • Flag bottlenecks in the chain and proactively think along on solutions

Process improvement & quality

  • Optimise and document warehouse processes, focused on efficiency, quality, and error reduction
  • Safeguard correct work instructions and compliance with quality and safety regulations
  • Prepare for and support audits and periodic inspections
  • Act as a sparring partner for management and contribute to strategic choices around the warehouse

What you offer

  • Vocational/higher vocational (MBO/HBO) working and thinking level
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in logistics/warehousing, ideally including some years in a supervisory or coordinating role
  • Experience with inventory management, quarantine processes, and WMS/ERP systems
  • A valid forklift certificate; VCA certification is a plus
  • Hands-on leadership: you lead the team and work alongside them on the floor
  • Strong communicator, switching effortlessly between departments (Sales, Backoffice, Procurement)
  • Precise and structured, with an eye for detail in inventory and quality management
  • Resilient and flexible, even during busy periods or unexpected situations
  • Proactive and solution-oriented; you take the initiative to improve processes
  • Reliable and responsible, setting the example for your team
