We're growing fast – we double in size every year. That pace of growth requires financial leadership that is every bit as ambitious as our commercial vision. That's why we're looking for a CFO who, together with our CEO, will build the foundation for sustainable, profitable growth: a strategic counterpart who combines commercial ambition with financial discipline.

While this is unmistakably a strategic leadership role, we're also a scale-up with a lean, entrepreneurial culture and little bureaucracy. That means you'll seamlessly switch between the boardroom and the day-to-day business, identifying opportunities and helping turn them into reality. You're just as comfortable shaping long-term strategy as you are taking a pragmatic, hands-on approach to the challenges that come with scaling a fast-growing company.

Financial strategy & steering

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Analyze and report on financial performance and KPIs at company and product level
  • Identify risks and opportunities and translate these into strategic recommendations
  • Build and manage business cases for growth, investments, and international expansion
  • Coordinate annual accounts and audits in collaboration with external auditors


Finance team & operations

  • Support and oversee the Finance Officer in operational processes, ensuring quality and compliance, together with the Finance Controller
  • Lead and develop the finance team - from capability building to workload distribution
  • Oversee Procurement, Logistics, and HR in close collaboration with their respective managers
  • Manage the company's capital structure and financing arrangements, including credit facilities and banking relationships


Governance, risk & stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with international regulations, tax obligations, and internal control procedures
  • Develop management reports and dashboards for the executive team and shareholders
  • Act as the financial conscience of the management team and primary contact for banks, investors, and auditors
  • Hold weekly meetings with the shareholder's CFO to discuss (financial) progress
  • Continuously improve the risk management and control framework as the organization grows
  • Partner with the CEO on commercial decisions and growth opportunities, providing constructive financial counterbalance

What you offer

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international scale-up or FMCG/consumer brand
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and risk management
  • Strong track record in management reporting and translating financials into actionable advice
  • Experience with international structures, operations, and currencies is a plus
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to set priorities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable in a dynamic, international scale-up environment
  • Leadership focused on collaboration and influence, not hierarchy
