Marketing Manager (Full-time, 40 hours)

As Marketing/Activation Manager at Amacx, you will be responsible for strengthening the Amacx brand and driving consumer engagement through impactful marketing campaigns and activation programs, with a strong focus on growing B2C revenue through our own channels. In this role, you will lead the marketing team, ensuring alignment, creativity, and effectiveness across all brand touchpoints, as well as be a part of Amacx's management team. You will translate our growth ambitions into creative strategies that increase brand awareness, stimulate sales, and build lasting relationships with athletes, partners, retailers, as well as consumers.

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the marketing team, currently consisting of a Brand Manager, Content Creator, Performance Marketeer, Website Marketing Specialist, and Junior B2B Marketeer.
  • Coordinate, contribute to, translate, plan and execute marketing strategy and brand activation strategies aligned with Amacx’s business objectives.
  • Manage brand calendar and campaign planning across digital, retail, and event channels to maximize brand exposure.
  • Optimize budget utilization to generate B2C revenue, and develop a forecast with corresponding monthly targets aligned with both the forecast and budget.
  • Drive activations with sports teams, athletes, events, and partners to strengthen brand visibility and credibility in the sports nutrition market, act as the face of the brand, and define the activation strategy.
  • Oversee content creation for various marketing channels (online, offline, social media, events).
  • Manage budgets, oversee timelines, and external agencies to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.
  • Work with the full marketing team to track, analyse, and report on marketing performance across channels, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with key functions including Sales, Product Development, and E-Commerce to align strategies, bring the company vision to life, and ensure a cohesive consumer experience.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing and/or brand activation, preferably within sports, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing successful brand campaigns and activations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, with strong personality, experienced in managing and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Affinity with sports, performance, and/or nutrition is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Creative mindset combined with analytical and strategic thinking.
