In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and procurement activities, contributing to our team's success in delivering excellence in sports nutrition.

Function:
As a Purchase Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from market research and supplier negotiations to monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely deliveries. You’ll collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations and contribute to optimizing supply chain efficiency.
  • Determine requirements (specifications and quantities) for materials.
  • Visit potential suppliers and monitor their performance.
  • Stay updated on trends and innovations within the market.
  • Conduct market research and perform spend analysis.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and manage contracting processes.
  • Request and compare quotes (RfX) from suppliers.
  • Establish minimum stock levels and troubleshoot supply chain issues.

What you offer

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the nutrition or related industry.
  • NEVI 1 diploma or similar qualification.
  • Proficiency in Exact Online or similar MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Experience in maintaining and building strong relationships with B2B suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and a very good command of English.
