New Business Development Manager

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for our sports nutrition brand. Your primary focus will be cold acquisition, actively seeking B2B partners such as distributors, (online) shops, and sales channels. Additionally, you will acquire new (professional) teams and sports clubs as sales opportunities. By attending events and trade fairs, you will identify and engage potential partners who align with our brand. Initially, your focus will be on the Benelux market, with plans to expand into key countries such as the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the USA. Our goal is to make Amacx available in every major market.

  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
  • Generate sales with professional sports teams, clubs, and event organizers.
  • Attend trade fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to establish new connections.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategically expand into international markets beyond Benelux.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align partnership strategies.
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements that drive brand growth.
  • Report on new business development activities and progress to management.

What you get

  • Salary Range: €4.000,- - €5.000,-
  • Contract Type: 7 months with 1 month probation

What you offer

  • Proven experience in sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of our users and preferably the endurance sports or nutrition industry.
  • Experience working in a startup/scale-up environment.
  • Preferably a substantial network in sports.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Affinity with endurance sports and sports nutrition.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are preferable.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to events and meetings.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven personality.
