At the tour of the Amstel Gold Race, one of the most famous cycling events in the Netherlands, our team of nutritionists is ready to provide you with the right nutrition. We will be present at all nutrition points along the course to make sure you get the right fuel to improve your performance and maintain your energy levels.

On Friday, April 14, it will be possible to purchase nutrition at the Amacx booth at the Shimano Experience Center. On Saturday, April 15, we will provide you with sports nutrition.

In what ways can I supplement my carbohydrates?

Our body, like a car, has a limited amount of energy. Over time, this energy runs out and our body can no longer function at the same level. With intense exercise, this range is about 45 to 90 minutes. The speed at which our energy runs out depends on several factors, such as the intensity of the activity.
If you want to avoid "hunger pangs" during the Amstel Gold Race and maintain your performance, it is important to take in enough carbohydrates. The table below gives an indication of the amount of carbohydrates you need, depending on the duration of the effort.
